Without any doubt, the Claris is the best confirmation that providing an excellent service is an art.

It has taken five years to transform a neoclassical palace from the 19th century into one of Spain's most unique hotels.
A hotel where it is impossible to find two identical rooms because everything at the Claris was hand-made. From the design and construction of the furniture to choosing the marble and exotic wood crafted by a diverse team of artisans, following techniques that seemed to have been forgotten these days.

One of the few hotels whose service and quality reflected their star rating

An excessive fee for late checkout when the room was clearly not booked out the night of our departure. We didnt utilise late checkout because of this. We have availed ourselves of late checkout at other hotels and always had this fee waived if the room wasnt being used that day.

The antique in the room. The friendliness of Emma del valle-Guest relations manager. The quality of the food in the restaurant. The two special Loft rooms on the second floor.The friendliness and helpfulness of most of the staff

1.There are two types of Loft rooms. They are not the same. This should be made clear. The better ones are on the second floor.2, We don't see how this can be called a 5 star Hotel. Its nice, comfortable but not 5 star. The standards for allotting 5 stars seem easier in Europe than in Asia 3. Price too high
